As Product Portfolio Executive for Financial Services, you’ll primarily support the development of the Group Voucher product and internationalisation of Foreign Exchange across our source markets. As well as driving revenue from UK Financial Services products which including Foreign Exchange, Multi-Currency Card and Gift Voucher provision.  

 

At its core, this role is all about supporting the delivery of the group voucher proposition. This includes supporting the implementation of the new product, driving sales amongst TUI customers, supporting product development initiatives, supporting supplier management & logistics, increasing redemption opportunities as well as sharing best practice across the group. 

 

The role is based in Luton, but at TUI we believe work is something you do not somewhere you go. Therefore, we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements for this role and the successful candidate will work a blend of office and home working.  Please note the closing date for applications is 31st May.

ABOUT THE JOB 

  • You will work with the Product Portfolio Manager – Gift Cards to drive Gift Card performance and support supplier relationships. This will include the implementation of account plans and attending monthly supplier reviews, as well as assisting in managing operational performance where appropriate.  
  • You will also support efforts to improve volume across our sales channels. You will regularly review customer touchpoints to ensure that our presentation is optimal, and you will ensure that our suite of Financial Services products are available to book for our customers. You will support your Line Manager to ensure that our channels remain fully engaged in the Gift Card proposition. 
  • Support the ‘purchase anytime, anywhere’ vision, which will be working with the distribution channels and the markets themselves to ensure that the products are visible in the various customer touchpoints both online and offline.  
  • Undertake competitor analysis to understand the product features of our competitor financial services products, to understand their features, their pricing and how they are presented. 
  • Monitor the sales and margin performance of your products. 
  • Make recommendations to optimise and enhance your products based on the performance and competitor analysis you have undertaken.  
  • Have some account management responsibility with third party suppliers. You will be the initial contact in TUI for any issues that our suppliers may have and will support on activity to help manage the account. 
  • Be the first point of contact for the TUI source markets on any issues they may have and will work collaboratively to support them on optimising the  products in your remit. 
  • Work with the wider UK and Central Ancillaries team to support our goal to drive improved margins. This is a broad remit and may see you completing administrative tasks such as raising Invoices and Purchase Orders or making suggestions to the Central Markets Ancillaries team for new products to fill local market gaps.  
  • Support your Line Manager with various Ancillaries projects which have a direct impact on the customer proposition and the bottom line. 


 

ABOUT YOU 

  • Gift card or Financial Services experience advantageous – an interest in Financial Services products would be preferred 
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.  
  • Highly PC literate with intermediate excel skills  
  • Strong initiative with ability to deliver both working on own and in a team. 
  • Organised with a flexible approach to working within a fast changing, fast moving international environment. 
  • Can cope well under pressure and display a positive “can do” attitude. 
  • A team player who can build strong cross team/ divisional/ cross market relationships with colleagues to find the best solution. 
  • Customer focused mindset, means you understand customer needs, both internal and external.
