Job Description

As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing medical care and assistance to our guests and Team Members. Your professional expertise, compassion, and commitment to ensuring the well-being of individuals will contribute to a safe and healthy environment at our resort.

  • Medical Care: Provide medical care and assistance to guests and Team Members who require medical attention, including assessment, treatment, and management of illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.
  • First Aid: Administer first aid and basic life support techniques as necessary, ensuring immediate and appropriate responses to medical incidents or emergencies.
  • Health Assessments: Conduct health assessments, including taking vital signs, evaluating symptoms, and providing appropriate medical advice and recommendations.
  • Medication Management: Dispense medications to guests and Team Members as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and adherence to medication schedules, while maintaining proper records.
  • Health Education: Offer health education and promote wellness by providing information on disease prevention, hygiene practices, and healthy lifestyle choices to guests and Team Members.
  • Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, including patient histories, assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
  • Medical Equipment and Supplies: Ensure the availability and proper functioning of medical equipment and supplies, conducting regular checks, restocking as necessary, and arranging for repairs or replacements.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans, participating in training exercises, and being prepared to respond to medical emergencies.
  • Collaboration with Medical Facilities: Establish and maintain effective communication with local medical facilities, arranging for medical referrals, transfers, or consultations when necessary.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Adhere to all medical and healthcare regulations, including privacy laws, infection control protocols, and occupational health and safety standards.



Qualifications

  • Certified approved educational certificate in nursing.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience within 5 star branded resort/hotel on the same capacity.
  • Ability to speak, write and converse advanced level of English.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Maldives experience preferred.
