About the job

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Associate to support our IT department in maintaining the organization’s computer systems, networks, and user support needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Windows operating environments, WAN networking, and troubleshooting a variety of IT-related issues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to users across the organization (in-person, via phone, or remote).
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware.
  • Assist in the administration and monitoring of the organization's WAN, including routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Assist with user account management including Active Directory, email setup, and permissions.
  • Support the setup and operation of IT equipment for meetings or presentations.
  • Ensure timely updates and patches for systems and antivirus software.
  • Document support issues and solutions in a ticketing or knowledge base system.


About you

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a technical support or IT associate role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and Windows Server environments.
  • Understanding of WAN technologies and basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, user account management, and file permissions.
  • Good understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
