The arena in Milan’s Santa Giulia district will create new opportunities for live entertainment and sporting events, offering an unparalleled level of service to artists, promoters, and fans – all within an innovative and sustainable venue, with a capacity of 16.000 spectators.
A NEW LANDMARK IN THE CITY OF MILANO
A collaboration between David Chipperfield Architects and Arup, inspired by the elliptical form of the city’s former Roman amphitheatre. The arena provides a contemporary interpretation of a historical archetype, creating a vibrant space for collective entertainment.
MOST SUSTAINABLE ARENA IN ITALY
In line with circular economy principles, the arena’s design considers not only carbon content but also the entire lifecycle of the building. It will be one of the
largest single-site producers of renewable energy in Milan, generating approx. 1 MW of photovoltaic energy.
