Opening in Summer 2027, The Maligne is a boutique luxury wellness hotel set in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. The hotel and Spirit Island Thermal Spa are designed by one of Canada’s leading architects, Michael Shugarman. Rooted in the natural rhythm of the surrounding forest, the hotel is designed to operate as one cohesive organism—where guest rooms, food and beverage, wellness, and the Spirit Island Thermal Spa flow together to create a deeply connected and restorative guest experience.
