Mallorca's finest boutique hotel - The Son Net Estate dates to 1672, with its original well and patio, set against the rugged Serra de Tramuntana Mountains (now declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site). The luxury hotel Son Net was opened in 1998.
Gran Hotel Son Net is an exquisite luxury Mallorcan Estate, a breathtaking historical mansion dating back to the 17th century, which has been lovingly restored into an elegant sanctuary amid the rugged Serra de Tramuntana Mountains (now a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site) - a mere 20 minutes from Palma- a boutique hotel offering the essence of Mallorcan classicism; rooms are spacious and full of light with glorious vistas.
The building materials include stone, wood, and traditional tiles. The traditional stucco walls give the sensation of an authentic Mallorcan home and the traditional “Tela de Lenguas” fabric, also made on the island, characterise the public spaces.
Art is one of the main features of the hotel, displaying a prominent collection of modern paintings and original works from artists such as Marc Chagall, Frank Stella, David Hockney and others.
