Based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Yas Marina Circuit is considered one of the most technologically-advanced Formula 1® circuits in the world and a home for motorsports in the Middle East. Following our inaugural F1® in 2009, Yas Marina Circuit has grown to offer a wide range of incredible experiences both on and off the track.

Yas Marina Circuit is the only motorsports venue in the world that offers covered and shaded grandstands throughout the facility, coupled with it's unique pit lane exit that runs partially beneath the track, Yas Marina Circuit’s motorsports experience for both spectators and drivers is second to none.

GET ON TRACK
As a visitor to Yas Marina Circuit, you can immerse yourself in an adrenaline-producing Driver or Passenger Experience. Learning, passenger and driving packages are available at Yas Central, home of Yas Racing School, a National Hot Rod Association approved Drag Racing Centre, Yas Kartzone, the retail shop and Johnny Rockets. You can feel like a champion or watch friends and family release their inner champion on the circuit while you relax and enjoy an iconic burger and a milkshake at the famous Johnny Rockets.

OUR STORY
Yas Marina Circuit was unveiled on 30 October 2009 with the final race of the Formula 1® World Championship – the inaugural FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX – to a crowd around 50,000 spectators.

After two years of intensive planning and construction involving 14,000 staff and 35 million construction man-hours, our versatile facility opened its doors to the world. The United Arab Emirates was eager to take in the beautiful landscaping and traditional Arabic hospitality alongside sensational on-track action. Yas Marina Circuit encourages the growth of sporting culture in the UAE and prides itself on being the centre for motorsports excellence in the Middle East.

As a training ground for motorsports success in the Middle East, and our commitment to creating a sustainable motorsports community throughout the region, it is our ambition to have a UAE National Driver competing in F1® within 10 years.
