Arctic Bath, located in the breathtaking nature of Harads in northern Sweden, offers our guests a combination of relaxation, adventure, and gastronomy. We are a unique floating hotel with 12 rooms, a spa, a restaurant, and a wide range of activities. We are part of Small Luxury Hotels and have been awarded one MICHELIN key.


Our dining experience blends tradition with innovation to create exclusive culinary experiences, and we are now looking for a person who is eager to learn and wants to be an integral part of our kitchen team and help maintain the high standards of our kitchen.


  • Take part in the daily planning, organization, and operations of a professional kitchen alongside our culinary team.
  • Gain insight into kitchen leadership by supporting the team during service.
  • Work according to high culinary standards and learn how we ensure consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Collaborate closely with the restaurant and reception teams to create memorable guest experiences.
  • Participate in menu planning and development together with the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager.
  • Follow food hygiene, food safety, and kitchen operational procedures in line with industry standards.
  • Develop your practical culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs.
  • Learn about ingredient handling, quality control, and efficient kitchen workflows.
  • Understand the importance of professionalism and how every department contributes to exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Build confidence in working flexibly in a dynamic environment where every day brings new opportunities to learn.

About you

  • Have a genuine passion for cooking and a strong desire to learn and develop in a professional fine dining kitchen.
  • Have some previous experience from a professional kitchen through education, internships, or work experience.
  • Are curious about modern cooking techniques, presentation, and flavour development.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude, even during busy services.
  • Have a good understanding of food hygiene and food safety, or are eager to learn and apply these principles.
  • Communicate well in English and enjoy working in an international team. Swedish is an advantage but not required.
  • Have an interest in pastry, which is considered a great asset.
  • Language required: English. French, Italian, Portuguese, and Swedish are a plus
