This is not a traditional Butler or Concierge role.
At Fregate Island, our Island Guides are experience hosts. They become the main point of contact for guests throughout their stay, creating meaningful connections and delivering personalised luxury experiences that guests will remember long after they leave the island.
From welcoming guests on arrival to coordinating every detail of their stay, you'll ensure each experience feels effortless and personal. But what makes this role unique is that we encourage our Island Guides to share their own passions, talents and interests with guests.
Whether your passion is diving, photography, wellness, music, wildlife, storytelling, fitness or another hobby, we want you to help turn it into memorable guest experiences.
Working closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa, Marina and other departments, you will coordinate guest activities, prepare villas, anticipate guest needs and ensure every stay exceeds expectations.
This is a highly guest-facing role for energetic, curious and engaging people who genuinely enjoy creating unforgettable moments while living and working on one of the world's most exclusive private islands.

About you
We're looking for people with personality just as much as experience.
Our ideal candidate enjoys meeting people from around the world, loves the outdoors and has a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences.
You should have:
- At least 2–3 years' experience in luxury hospitality, Guest Relations, Butler Service, Concierge or another guest-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, confident and professional personality.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Very good spoken English. Additional languages are highly valued.
- A willingness to live and work on a remote private island.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and personalised guest service.
We're especially interested in candidates who have talents, hobbies or specialist skills they would enjoy sharing with guests.

You don't need to have all of these. We're looking for interesting people with genuine passions who enjoy creating unforgettable guest experiences.
- Language required: English. Arabic, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish are a plus
The company
Fregate Island is one of Seychelles’ most exclusive island resorts, located 55 km east of Mahé and surrounded by seven pristine beaches and untouched natural beauty.
The island is currently undergoing a full redevelopment and is preparing for its reopening in late 2026. This next chapter will introduce upgraded villas, refined culinary concepts, and enhanced guest facilities, while carefully preserving the island’s distinctive character and environment.
