At Fregate Island, wellness is about creating highly personalised experiences in a peaceful and unique private island setting.
As a Spa Therapist, you will deliver exceptional treatments tailored to each guest, including massage, body treatments, facials and wellness rituals. You will take the time to understand individual needs and preferences, adapting treatments to create experiences that feel personal rather than routine.
Beyond treatments, you will be part of the wider guest experience. You may support wellness activities, introduce guests to different therapies, assist with Spa reception and daily operations, and work closely with Guest Services and other departments to create seamless experiences throughout their stay.
We are particularly interested in therapists who bring additional skills or wellness modalities to the role. Experience in areas such as Watsu, hydrotherapy, breathwork, energy healing, yoga, reflexology, aromatherapy or other holistic practices would be a strong advantage.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced therapist who is confident in their technical skills, naturally warm with guests, and able to deliver highly professional service while maintaining the calm, discretion and attention to detail expected in an ultra-luxury environment.

About you
We are looking for an experienced Spa Therapist who genuinely enjoys wellness, guest interaction and creating treatments around the individual rather than simply following a standard routine.
- A recognised professional Spa Therapist qualification or certification.
- At least 3–5 years' experience within a luxury spa, five-star resort or professional wellness environment.
- Strong practical skills in massage, body treatments, facials and spa rituals.
- Confidence conducting guest consultations and adapting treatments according to individual needs and preferences.
- Excellent hygiene, treatment preparation and presentation standards.
- A calm, discreet and highly professional approach.
- Fluent spoken English. An additional European language such as French, German, Italian, Spanish or Russian is an advantage.
- The flexibility to support wellness activities, Spa reception, guest interaction and daily operations when required.
- The ability and willingness to live and work on a remote private island.
- Experience within a boutique, island or ultra-luxury resort would be highly valued.
We are particularly interested in therapists who can bring additional expertise to our wellness offering, including Watsu, hydrotherapy, breathwork, energy healing, aromatherapy, reflexology, hot stone therapy, deep tissue massage or other specialist wellness modalities.
