 we’re searching for a purchasing Officer with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for perfection .

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Submits monthly report to Materials Manager on pending purchase requisition with the update of buyers.
• Conducts monthly market surveys and submit report to Materials Manager on Minimum 3 fast moving items.
• Maximise credit dealing with vendors avoiding cash purchases.
• Coordinates with other departments to help promote sales.
• Close follow up to make sure stock items delivery.
• Ordering of stock items and process of PRs with the proper prices for Chemicals, Cleaning,  Juices, Guest Amenities items and other store orders. 
• Supervises Direct or Indirect and Stores orders in timely delivery. 
• Proper follow up with suppliers for pending items of stores with the storekeeper cooperation.
• To process and execute orders for Stainless Steel and Aluminum.
• Looks for new avenues where we can obtain better deal to replace, if necessary old suppliers.
• Carries out IHG Policy & Procedure.

 

What We need from you:

• Conflict / problem solving
• Ability to consult and drive business where it most appropriate
• Ability to manage multiple parties involved in RFP process: clients, global sales, hotel sales, planning team.
• Must be comfortable in negotiating terms and driving best deal for client and generating cost savings.
