Your Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Technology Customer Analytics Manager to join our growing team. As a Digital Technology Customer Analytics Manager, you will plan, organise, direct and control the activities required for building and optimising our digital technology data product in the Digital Technology Customer Analytics area. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilising technologies to develop customer-centric data solutions. The manager must also mitigate risks and issues and communicate progress to all major stakeholders. The projects managed by this role will be significant in scale and business impact and will have worldwide coverage.
Your Impact
* Lead the delivery of the single customer data framework based on a solid understanding of different digital touchpoints and customer data sources.
* Drive the technological development and management of data products increasing the accessibility and democratisation of data, and ensuring alignment with the company objectives.
* Manage the data product backlog, writing and prioritising user stories based on business impact and feasibility.
* Develop and deploy data analytics technological solutions.
* Manage project teams defining resource plans, managing the team capacity, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and resolving issues that arise during the project.
* Track and report on the performance of digital technology customer analytics projects, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future actions.
* Guarantee the quality of the project, by ensuring that the project complies with quality standards and that all results meet stakeholder requirements.
* Manage post-implementation technical support, resolving technical issues and working with the technical team to ensure the solution is functioning properly.
* Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure the availability, accuracy, and security of customer data.
Your Journey so far
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or similar.
* At least 12 years of proven experience in a similar role in consultancy or mediumlarge size companies.
* Strong background in customer analytics, data lakehouse building and data mesh concepts.
* Experience within the travel and hospitality industry, with an ideal focus on the Cruising industry, is considered a plus.
Your Essentials
* Proficient in data analytics tools such as Azure stack, SQL, Google data layer, Adobe Experience Platform stack to support the design and delivery of an E2E customer 360 view (including the whole set of data generated during the cruise through the MSC for ME Onboard Digital Ecosystem)
* Proven experience in agile methodology, SAFe 6.0, covering Data Product Owner roles.
* A deep understanding of the digital landscape, of MarTech, including emerging technologies and trends.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels. Ability to tailor communication style to different audiences.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve project-related issues. Ability to make timely and informed decisions to keep projects on track achieve project objectives and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
* Fluent in English, or any other EU languages would be an advantage.
* Availability to travel.

MSC Cruises has grown exponentially since 2003. In such a short time, we have built a fleet of 22 modern and most environmentally advanced ships!
With our constant expansion, our fleet will grow in capacity with the arrival of seven new ships in three different classes by 2027.
One of our latest ships – MSC World Europa – was delivered in 2022, inaugurating the World Class. It is our largest cruise ship to date, with a capacity of over 6,700 passengers, served by more than 2,000 crew members.
In 2023 we inaugurated the MSC Euribia equipped with the best and latest environmental technology and bestowed with a highly-innovative design.
In 2023 MSC Cruises entered the Luxury segment by launching its first of four Explora Journeys ships.
Recruitment Prospects
With three new mega-ships and four Luxury ships to be built and delivered between 2023 and 2027, the biggest and most important challenge for MSC Cruises is to find, recruit and train a high number of new crew members needed to provide the service, fun and safety that have become hallmarks of MSC Cruises.
This massive project is already well under way.
