APICIUS International School of Hospitality is the first international
institution of its kind in Italy. Founded in 1997, the school is an
internationally respected leader in academic and career-oriented education. Apicius currently represents the School of Hospitality at Florence University of the Arts - The American University of Florence (FUA-AUF).

APICIUS academics feature three main divisions:
School of Food and Wine Studies
School of Hospitality
School of Sports and Health Sciences

The above schools gathered under Apicius interact with the local community through non-profit creative learning labs where students directly apply learned skills to the local context:
