Se encuentra en constante cambio, no sólo debido a la diversidad de los diferentes tipos de eventos, sinó también por su creciente complejidad, escala global e impacto en todas las estrategias de marketing. En este contexto, empresas pertenecientes a múltiples sectores, son conscientes de ello y están utilizando de manera creciente los eventos como nueva herramienta de promoción y clave para la construcción de su marca de reconocimiento. El impacto de estos nuevos contextos, obliga, asímismo a la industria de los Eventos a transformarse continuamente con el objetivo de mantenerse competitiva y evolucionar en línea con las nuevas tendencias.
Hospitality is a growing, diverse and exciting industry that provides an abundance of employment opportunities at home and elsewhere around the globe. The demand for hospitality graduates is growing each year in the global hotel, leisure, industrial, business, health and education sectors. This programme will give you the management, technological and operational skills you need to work in the international hospitality industry. Specific modules enhance the international focus of the programme and the international experience of the student. You’ll develop the strong communication, interpersonal, management and leadership skills that have been identified by the hospitality industry as essential for career success. Key areas of study are Communications, Management, Law and Industry Studies. Since European languages are becoming increasingly important, you also have the option to study one European language. Subjects studied include business communications, intercultural awareness, fundamentals of accounting, international hospitality industry studies, food and beverage practice, marketing, restaurant operations, hospitality management operations, bar & beverage management, hospitality information systems, hospitality law, and strategic management. There is a six-month work placement in Year 3. On graduation, you may proceed to postgraduate studies leading to the award of MSc, MPhil or PhD at research institutes and universities worldwide.
Tourism is one of the world’s largest industries worldwide and is forecasted to be one of the fastest-growing global sectors, with exciting career opportunities. This programme focuses broadly on business and management subjects and more specifically on digital tourism marketing, to reflect the changing needs of the industry in light of technological advances. A suite of modules has been designed on the marketing and management of tourism enterprises such as visitor attractions, destination management companies, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, conference centres and management bureaux. You’ll acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of tourism and marketing practices, gaining an understanding of the operation of the tourism industry and the use of digital tools for tourism marketing. Since European languages are becoming increasingly important in the world of work, you can choose to study one European language. There is a six-month work placement in Year 3. El CETT imparte este ciclo con el objetivo de formar a los futuros profesionales del sector de los viajes y la gestión de eventos desde una perspectiva profesional actual, en la que la innovación y las nuevas tecnologías son un elemento clave. A consecuencia de los cambios en los hábitos de compra de los viajes durante los últimos años, el sector precisa de profesionales con competencias tecnológicas y comerciales, imprescindibles para garantizar la calidad y la satisfacción de la clientela. El CETT, a través de la formación que proporciona el ciclo de Técnico Superior en Agencias de Viajes y Gestión de Eventos, incorpora, además de la visión más comercial y de gestión de los viajes, todos los aspectos relacionados con la creación y la programación de viajes combinados, desarrollando las competencias operativas y de gestión necesarias para su planificación. El alumnado también se forma en la gestión de eventos, y se pone especial énfasis en las relaciones públicas y la gestión organizativa, puntos clave para garantizar el éxito.
