The Master in Tourism & Hospitality Management is a one-year
degree specially designed to prepare graduates to pursue an
international career in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Throughout the year, participants of the Master in Tourism &
Hospitality Management develop core Hospitality Management
competencies, as well as personal and professional skills in the
areas of communication, negotiation, teamwork and leadership. The
core subjects are delivered at our main campus in the centre of
Barcelona, while leadership skills are developed at the Collbató
Residential Training Campus.
Throughout the Master, participants are exposed to real-life case
studies facilitated by a combination of academics and practitioners
using a unique methodology based on small, multicultural classes.
In addition, the programme has an optional Hospitality Training
Practicum which will enable you to work at national and
international level in top companies in the tourism and hospitality
sector. The programme will also give you access to young talent
programmes which will allow you to run your own department in two
to three years.
The luxury market is specific and requires a carefully defined marketing strategy to succeed. In this course, you will develop your know-how and skills for this market in three steps. First, you will discover the rules and characteristics that define luxury brands and how they differentiate from premium or fashion brands. Second, you will learn how to make strategic choices in terms of luxury branding and communication in various industries, with a strong focus on hospitality. Finally, you will explore how to appreciate and respond to current challenges faced by luxury brands. Throughout the course, special emphasis will be placed on the hospitality sector.

The Food & Beverage Entrepreneurship bachelor’s degree program allows students the opportunity to study an integrated mix of food and/or beverage courses, entrepreneurial and business classes, and a variety of experiential opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. This program prepares students for careers as innovators creating and managing food- and/or beverage-related small businesses and start-ups or to work as a proponent of intrapreneurship and innovators within existing organizations. Students begin their studies focused on the craft of food, exploring and developing their passion, and then expand their focus into business and entrepreneurship studies. Throughout the course of study, students learn what it takes to begin their own food and/or beverage venture that includes developing a business plan, resource management, finance, marketing, leadership and innovation. Opportunities exist for students to engage in internship or study abroad.
